Pray for Tornado Victims



Samaritan’s Purse President Franklin Graham was on the ground in Tuscaloosa, Alabama, on Saturday, showing his concern for victims of the powerful tornadoes that ravaged the state and overseeing the work of our disaster relief teams.

Severe storms wreaked havoc across the South on April 27, causing widespread damage and tremendous loss of life. The storm system spawned tornadoes that wiped out homes and businesses, and left hundreds of thousands of people without power. More than 340 people were killed, including at least 250 in Alabama.

“I flew in today, and from Birmingham, you see a brown swath on the ground for several hundred miles,” Graham said. “I’ve never seen anything like that.”
